Commander Zilyana is the appointed leader of Saradomin's forces in the God Wars Dungeon and one of only two living representatives of the Icyene race in Grinderscape, the other being Safalaan. She commands an army of minions and uses powerful melee and magic attacks.

The inventory for Zilyana is a tricky one. There's many ways to set it up and it differs a bit from OSRS. This is an inventory that (if done correctly) can net you a lot of long term kills.


*Food
Recommended supplies:
*Brews + Restores for either emergency healing or healing after a kill and you're very low on Health
*Prayer Restoration
*Stamina Potions for kiting it.
*Blowpipe for the minions (if you don't have a Twisted Bow), otherwise bring more supplies
*Emergency Teleport (Picture is using Slayer's Enchantment, but any 1 click teleport is good)


If you just need a kill for a boss contract or just wanna try a few kills, it's recommended to just bring:
* Food for healing
* Saradomin brews and restores for emergency healing and prayer restoration
* Stamina potions for kiting
* Blowpipe for minion kills (or alternative ranged weapon)
* Emergency teleport for quick escape

The best way to kill the Commander is to kite her and Starlight. Kiting is essentially bunching them up (much like a sheep herder) and keeping your distance to make sure you take as little damage as possible. By praying magic while doing this, and doing it right, the only damage you will be taking is from Bree's ranged attacks.
You need to pray magic against Commander Zilyana. It's also recommended to use rigour to increase your range attack. You can unlock rigour when you buy the rigour scroll at the blood money shop (Leagues Tutor) at home.
